Avenue Apartments
The Avenue Apartments in Fayetteville, Arkansas is a beautiful, 180-unit complex near the University of Arkansas Campus. Due to the hilly topography and the limited footprint, the designers required multiple retaining walls.
Palmerton Parrish, a Geo-Technical Engineering firm in Springfield, Missouri, came up with several solutions including gravity walls with 60” block with multiple setbacks as well as Positive Connection Geogrid block. SI Precast in Springfield, Missouri produced over 1,600 Limestone-textured Redi-Rock retaining blocks in the various configurations required.
Construction of the walls was started by Tri Star Contractors of Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, beginning in late in 2018 and was completed in the Spring of 2019.
