Castlewood Senior Living Center
Castlewood Senior Living Center is located on Hwy 14 between Nixa and Ozark, Missouri. The varied terrain required the project’s engineering firm, Palmerton & Parrish, to design 7 different retaining walls. Altom Construction built the walls, consisting mostly of gravity walls, using more than 1,400 Ledgestone-textured Redi-Rock retaining wall blocks. Post-installation, all of the walls were stained by Exact Match Masonry Staining LLC of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A pedestrian fence was attached to the top block of most of the walls which simplified installation.
