Farmers Park
In 2016, construction of a multi-use development was started at the intersection of Republic Rd. and Glenstone in Springfield, Mo. The site contains a Hilton Garden Inn, two multi-floor apartment buildings with retail below, as well as several restaurants and bars.
Throughout the development, various types of Redi-Rock retaining wall blocks were used extensively to create a more user-friendly site. Lee Engineering even used Redi-Rock blocks to create an elaborate fountain and waterfall in front of Houlihan’s restaurant. Hamilton & Dad excavation erected the 11 walls on the property.
Originally named the “Shoppes at James River,” the entire site was renamed “Farmers Park” in 2017 and holds an open-air farmers’ market every Saturday.
