Great Southern
It’s been said that in Branson, Missouri you’re either building on one side of the hill or the other, but you’re always building on a hill. That’s what Great Southern faced when they wanted to build a new branch in Branson in the fall of 2017. Built along Highway 248, the project required a substantial retaining wall to create a flat building site. Great Southern chose Redi-Rock and SI Precast to produce more than 1,800 limestone-textured retaining wall blocks. Due to the height of the wall, 19.5’ tall at the highest point, the wall was designed by Palmerton Parrish using Redi-Rock’s 1AT Geogrid connection. G.Griffin Construction was chosen to install the wall which surrounded the facility.
