Joplin High School
Following the devastating F5 tornado that destroyed homes and businesses in Joplin, Missouri on May 22, 2011, a new high school facility was needed. When the plans were created to replace the school, the engineer included several retaining walls for the new campus. Redi Rock and SI Precast were chosen as the retaining wall supplier for the project. SI Precast provided over 7,000 Redi-Rock blocks including retaining wall blocks, freestanding blocks, column blocks and caps, produced in the Springfield, MO and Parsons, KS plants. Both limestone and cobblestone textures providing different looks in different areas. The Cobblestone texture retaining wall blocks were chosen for the main campus. Limestone textured retaining wall blocks were chosen for the baseball field, as well as the 6″ cap on all walls.
SI Precast proudly offers a variety of Redi-Rock retaining wall systems. Explore more about them here.
