Rockhurst High School
As part of a project to help alleviate drainage problems on an upper practice field, Rockhurst High School wanted to integrate an existing statue into the design of a new retaining wall.
SI Precast worked with the contractor to manufacture, deliver and set a one-piece box during construction of the retaining wall. After the retaining wall construction was completed, the owner applied a stone veneer to the box, added display lighting and set the statue in place.
The finished installation, a garden grotto, allows the owner to enjoy an already beloved work of art in a new light.
